Rental Policy & Requirements

To ensure a smooth and safe rental experience, please review our standard requirements and guidelines before booking your rental.

Rental Requirements

  • Driver’s License: A valid, government-issued driver’s license must be presented at the time of delivery or pickup. The renter must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Insurance & Liability: The renter assumes full responsibility for the equipment during the rental period. This includes liability for any property damage, personal injury, or loss/damage to the machine itself. We recommend checking with your homeowner’s or business insurance policy to ensure coverage.

Deposit & Payment

  • Refundable Deposit: A $100 fully refundable security deposit is required upon booking or delivery.

  • Deposit Return: This deposit will be returned in full within 24 hours of the equipment’s safe return, provided the machine is undamaged, clean, and the fuel policy has been followed.

Critical Fuel Policy

  • Recreation (Unleaded) Fuel Only: The log splitter and rototiller is delivered to you with a full tank of gas. If you need to top it off or refill it during your rental, you must use Ethanol-Free Recreation Fuel ONLY.

  • Please Note: Standard pump gas containing ethanol will damage the small engine. Use of incorrect fuel will result in the immediate forfeiture of your $100 deposit to cover fuel system cleaning and repairs. Extra 2.5-gallon Rec Fuel cans are available to add to your rental for $10 if needed!
